One of the floor types I had in mind were spikes. They can make the room a little more dangerous and potentially allow some puzzle-ish stuff down the road. If nothing else it will at least help increase the different types and layouts of potential rooms during level generation. The spikes do not hurt you when retracted, but will damage the player a half heart if they are touched by protruding spikes.
Not much more in the way of new coded elements this week. I’ve been working on a side project.
We did finish the full set of level artwork, and I’ll leave some screenshots below that reflect that.
